Milestones

Grant has been granted (no pun intented, just couldn't think of a better word!) his settlement visa for the UK. First major hurdle cleared, yay :) Of course we will still need to find jobs, but I have confidence in that too.

Milestones

While the travel itself doesn't need updating yet, Kate's graduation is a definite milestone.  Last night she graduated with her BA, and hopes to do honours study next year. We are so proud of her, even though it seems a little bizarre to think we are old enough to have a child graduate from university!
Next milestone - Christmas with the family :)

3 months out

Hopefully we fly out 3 months today (or maybe tomorrow).  People keep asking if we have booked flights or made concrete plans yet and the answer is no.  The whole point is that we won't be working to a timeframe; the only certain thing is that we are starting in LA with Jo and Ian.  After that - we will go where the whim takes us!
