Today has been ridiculously (and surprisingly) busy. But most of the icing roses for Kate's birthday cake are made, the costumes are collected and things are starting to look vaguely sorted for Saturday night. Also Braedon made sure we have some Hashigo Zake stickers for our luggage! Slightly more appropriate for Grant than for me, but Braedon is right, luggage is cooler with lots of stickers on it. We might have to collect stickers for our luggage from every city we visit.
Wellington continues to display its worst summer weather for us; I nearly lost a car door and crossing Mulgrave Street at the Featherston Street intersection was a real challenge. I also undertook a mission to rescue some tomato plants hammered by the wind. They do have lots of flowers so hopefully the kids will actually get to enjoy some tomatoes if the weather ever improves.
